I wanted a more portable tablet for travel. A smaller 8″ tablet is easier to pack and is lighter. I can review pictures from my camera using the micro SD slot.

I can download and watch movies on the plane. For home viewing the stereo speakers are great. Battery life is very good. I’m very happy with this unit.

This tablet was easy to set up and came mostly charged. It is fast for game play and videos with no lagging and the screen is sensitive to touch, bit not overly so that it is a problem.

My 9 year old loves it and finds it easy to use and light weight. I use the Tab 4 8 for e-mail, reading the newspaper, reading e-books and PDFs, watching the occasional video, listening to podcasts and music, and viewing photos not taking or editing them.

Lenovo provides several accessories to keep your Tab 4 8 in pristine condition. The three Android software buttons are located at the bottom of the touchscreen, and the only physical buttons are located on the right side of the case. The Lenovo serves me really well for all of these things. I don’t notice any real lessening of quality when viewing photos although I know the Lenovo has a lower ppi than the Samsung.

The sound is great. For some reason, the 8 inch tablet market has shriveled, but this is a great option. Affordable price, sensitive touch screen, solid battery life and great GPS functionality.

I bought this tablet to use primarily as a GPS navigation tool using products like Google maps. The 8″ screen is a big upgrade over the small screen on my Garmin.

But the tablet is also great for e-books and casual browsing. Working great fast and so far reliable. Inexpensive compared to other tablets with the same specs.

Not a lot of bloat ware and adding an SD card works great too. Fast, responsive, and long battery life.

Tablet holds up in tough environment and gets the job done ELDs for trucking. So this tablet is seriously a bang for your buck, I never write reviews first off.

But this tablet is seriously worth bragging about. Smooth and quick in everything I’ve used it for. Plus I got it with Andrew home assistant speaker!

I can’t say enough good things about this tablet. The screen is vivid, the speakers are great, and this is an incredible value for the money.

I’ve given three as gifts for children, and I have a fourth that I use as a coffee shop reader. I have no insight into the performance of the tablet, as I just use it for browsing, reading, and YouTube videos which aren’t as demanding as some gamesbut it seems fast to me.

My only observation is that of the four tablets I received, one of the LCDs had light bleed near the corners, only visible when displaying dark colors that some may consider excessive.

However, I understand the constraints Lenovo is under–to get a tablet out the door at this price point with so many good features, sacrifices in terms of suppliers and parts manifest have to be made.

I use 8 in. Split screen for apps is handy, battery lasts forever. Lenovo just updated to install Alexa–nice touch, costs a bit more than Fire tablet but its quality and worth it.

This is a good question and not well answered by Lenovo. When you go on their website and pull up the detailed specifications for the TAB 4 8 it says absolutely nothing about GPS.

What are the specs? Battery life, processor, Android type ex: 4. This question Is NOT asking screen size. Its operating system is Android 7.
