My ZTE Blade Zmax was working fine I put it in my pocket and left a few hours later when I went to checky phone it was off at least I believe it is off because the screen is black and I can’t turn it on and there is no response when I charge it I have tried holding the power button for 30 sec. The latest Nokia phones and accessories | Nokia phones I will do my best help.
I have had this ZTE Force phone for exactly two weeks, now it will not turn on. I have removed and reinserted the battery, but no difference.
I have left the battery out for over an hour to be sure everything was cool, but no better. I cannot get it to turn back on.

When plugged into charger, the red light blinks. I don’t know if it is actually charging or not.

It happened to me as well. My phone died in the middle of phone call.

I left it charging overnight, but that did not make any difference. The battery had not been behaving abnormally before this.
It was very sudden. Could that really just be the battery? March 6.
There are a few things that are really messed up with the ZTE. Here is how I fix the “wont turn on” issue, and so far, it works every time. Simply remove the battery, then put it back in.
Plug in the power cord and it should work. This is certainly not an acceptable way for everyday life, but at least it will get you up and running again.

Welcome to FreedomPop. March 9. I am hopeful to make this phone work before returning it. We’ll see March I have three sealed in a box But it looks like it might be time I did purchase brand new batteries for all 3 of them I do this for any phone I purchase.
I’ll shoot them to you RMA for Support pages. Did anyone find an actual fix for this? Mine just started doing this about an hour ago. Hadn’t been using it, just pulled it out of my pocket, unlocked it to check battery percentage, locked it, went to unlock it again real quick because I forgot to check something else, and no more phone.

Jonathan Schneider If I had to guess, it has to deal with the battery and the Rom. Reason I purchased 3 new ones. After i activate the first one and do some testing.
I’ll have more answers. I’ve been reading all the issues we are having with the ZTEs and been trying like mad to come up with a solution.
I don’t work for these guys, and I have one phone keeping me from using any of the 3 I have Been waiting on answers for that one. But once they fix my account and I activate one of the 3.
I’ll be able to come up with more of a answer. When the phone shuts off. It had just been in my pocket. I left it un-plugged with the battery out for about 30 minutes, then put the battery back in on the charger for about 5 or 10 and it did finally come back.

Turn off phone and charge until you see solid green led light up 2. Then use it normally until it suddenly shut itself off to protect the battery and flashes red led when attempting to turn it on 4.
Repeat I received my phone almost a week ago so I guess thats the time it took for me to do 1 full charge and 1 full discharge per day. I get roughly about 8 hours of standby on those cycles.
By the 4th or 5th one, the green led turn on in step 2. My standby hours have increased to 13 hours. The latest cycle is 1d 15h of standby and still going!
Have any of you guys tried using a new battery or charger? Apparently the charger it came with has conked out.

I once had a cheap Android tablet which actually recommended that same process in order to “condition” the battery. I will try it with the phone.

Didn’t give it much thought until this happened. I will attempt the “conditioning” and continue to post on the Forum. I should have said something about the charger first I normally do I just chatted with some pro’s a few days ago–on the ZTE, and I told them to try a better charger That chargers coming with the phone might have been defective Hi njfulwider5 – you seem to be pretty knowledgable here.
I ordered a ZTE Force, which arrived yesterday. I did the PRL and system updates and followed the directions that came with it that said to charge it.
I charged it overnight, and now it won’t turn on. The little red light blinks quickly on then off when I press power while it’s plugged in.

Also, the plug does not feel like it’s secure in the charge port. I tried calling Freedompop to have them send me a replacement I haven’t even gotten to use my new phone yet to no avail.
I waited for an hour on hold, but the young lady who picked up claimed she couldn’t hear me even though she was responding to my questions – after I pointed that out, she stopped responding – I assume she was just trying to pretend she was doing work without fielding calls – very infuriating, especially when customers wait so long on hold.

It sounds like this is a hardware problem, and FreedomPop should send me a new phone, but if I can’t get someone on the phone there, I don’t know what to do.
Do you have any advice, or is there a way to get my issue escalated quickly and have someone call me back today? But right now it has the info I quoted above.
