Of these, Oppo and Vivo already have phones out in the market that have identical features and design. Vivo recently launched the V11 Pro that shares a lot of design elements with Oppo’s newly launched F9 Pro.

Rumours suggest that the OnePlus 6T, which is expected to launch on October 17, will come with a waterdrop notch and embedded fingerprint sensor, another feature that it is expected to share with the Vivo V11 Pro.

But more about the OnePlus 6T later. In the design and battery department, the Oppo F9 Pro wins, sort of. The Oppo F9 Pro is a better-looking phone and also delivers a few extra hours of battery backup compared to the V11 Pro.

But if you’re looking for a phone that’s fast enough to handle daily usage smoothly and has a bright display, V11 Pro is the apt choice. Both the phones come with the latest software, rear mounted dual cameras and a megapixel selfie camera on the front.

But then, the V11 Pro, as we mentioned in our review, is perfect in every way. Sadly, both the phones come with a plastic back cover, which is quite disappointing to see in phones priced above Rs 20, The back panels of both the phones look glassy, but they are made of plastic.

Comparatively, the plastic used to build the Oppo F9 Pro is of somewhat better quality than the Vivo phone. The F9 Pro feels premium in hand, while the V11 Pro doesn’t.

Not only that, the Vivo phone is also capable of clicking decent pictures in tricky lighting. The bokeh shots, however, could have been worked upon, as the pictures often appeared artificial with blurred out edges.

The camera app also comes with Google Lens support. Comparatively, the Oppo F9 Pro’s camera could have been better. The Oppo phone also managed to click decent pictures with fair amount of details, but the pictures often turned out to be oversaturated.

We can expect Oppo to resolve this issue in the next software update. In our review of the Oppo F9 Pro, we had mentioned, “In good lighting conditions, photos come out sharp with mostly good colour reproduction, although it tends to get a little oversaturated at times, especially the reds and blues.

The colours, however, often looked washed out, thanks to the added layer of filters that the cameras put on the pictures to beautify it. Selfies clicked with both the phones tend to smoothen the facial features and the clarity takes a dip, but not significantly.

Both the phones last one full day with ease in a single charge. The Vivo V11 Pro comes with mAh battery and supports fast charging.

Vivo calls the technology dual-engine charger, which I feel is much faster than the OnePlus Dash charger as well. The Oppo F9 Pro, on the other hand, houses a 3,mAh battery with VOOC flash charge support, which the company claims can offer 2 hours of talk time in just 5 minutes of charge.

Overall, as for the battery life, both the V11 Pro and the Oppo F9 Pro can last a day, the latter can actually go on for more than a day, probably 1.

This is a tough question to answer, as both the phones are equally good in their own way. The V11 Pro comes with in-display fingerprint sensor and also IR face unlock, which unlocks the phone in a blink of an eye.
